OIM’s Strokes of Hope Evening Thank You & Highlights
About the Event
This year, we gathered at the beautiful and prestigious Ottawa Art Gallery. We welcomed our guests for a fun-filled evening that offered a three-course meal prepared by Chef Ric’s, and entertained guests with some wonderful spoken word by Lief, a beautiful song by Ellie, and an outstanding performance on the drums from Jack.
The auction saw friendly bidding wars on some of the incredible art created by our youth. The auction is important to the youth because it affirms their talents, promotes their self-esteem, helps develop social skills, and, what may be most important to them, provides them with financial rewards for work well done.
Thank You – Event Sponsors
This event would not have been possible without the help of our Dinner and Artists’ Sponsors: Dominion Chalmers United Church, Primerica Canada, and Watercolour Westport.
Dominion Chalmers United CHurch
Thank you to Dominion Chalmers United Church for being a Dinner Sponsor. It was wonderful to welcome you and to engage in conversations with your church members about what’s happening at OIM.
Primerica Canada
Thank you to Jim Beaulne from Primerica who helped us make this event possible. Your contribution especially means a lot to your sponsored artist, Charlotte, who received 100% of the proceeds from the winning bid on her art.
Thank You – The Ottawa Art Gallery
We are beyond grateful to the Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG) for helping us make this event happen. The OAG provided the perfect ambiance, having an art-related event and auction in Ottawa’s prestigious gallery.
Thank You – Chef Ric’s
Thank you to Chef Ric’s for catering this event. The food was wonderful and delicious. Many of our guests commented on the quality of the food, and we were impressed with the friendliness of the staff serving us. It was a real joy and pleasure to partner with you in this way.
