The Great Star of Africa is the largest rough gem quality ever found, weighting in at 530.2 carats. It resides under the ownership of the Queen as part of the British Crown Jewels.
The rarest of the rare may only happen once in the lifetime of history…gems and people alike. When you come across such beauty you know that you are in the presence of something or someone breathtakingly one of a kind and special.
Joseph was 530.2 carats of uniqueness, with a kind heart and hands that were always ready to serve others. He was always gentle with his words and was a joy to be around.
Our special little community here at Ottawa Innercity Ministries was hit very hard at the news of Joseph’s passing. The tears and the unanswered questions were too many to bear. His absence in the chair he once sat in could never be filled by someone else the same way.
We pray often for the aching loss in his parents’ hearts and for the healing of their family.
Joseph you are so deeply missed. Rest in peace, until we meet again.
