…make light work. No where is this expression more true than at OIM.
My husband and I do outreach on Friday nights. Often when we arrive at OIM someone has already made our sandwiches, either at their home or in the OIM kitchen.
Someone else has gone to Cobs Bakery in Barrhaven, picked up a pastry donation, and packaged them in individual baggies.
Another volunteer has gone to the Produce Depot and picked up apples and oranges for us to give out.
A few weeks back one of the wagons got a flat tire. Someone took the wagon home, purchased a new innertube, and changed the tire.
Just like the illustration of how the body of Christ is made up of many parts, so too is the OIM community.
What a blessing it has been to be part of a team of people who love Jesus and want to serve Him in this way.
