SPECIAL MEAL
Give hope to our street friends a typical summer BBQ meal

About our Summer BBQ
During the summer, our street friends experience the hottest temperatures of the year, and we want to give them a cool place to relax and enjoy a traditional summer BBQ, something that many of us enjoy. That's why we’re providing them with a traditional summer BBQ that our friends on the street might not be able to enjoy.
This special meal also provides lots of time to connect and exchange stories with each other and with our volunteers, who love nothing more than being able to share the love of Jesus in word and action with those who attend. We also love to hear from our friends how thankful they are to God for providing a cool place during the heat and enjoying good food.

Date & Time
On August 13, 2024, we will gather to share a BBQ meal together. We are inviting our street friends for a sit-down meal from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, helping them escape the heat while enjoying a typical Canadian summer BBQ.

The event will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church. The address is 120 Lisgar Street.

Help make a difference
Often, our street friends are forgotten during the summer months. To come alongside and support those facing homelessness and poverty, we want our street friends to enjoy a typical Canadian summer BBQ regardless of their circumstances. Just recently, at our Door Outreach, one of our friends asked if we were having our BBQ again this year, highlighting our friends' excited anticipation for this special meal.
