SERVICES
Meeting the needs of our community with our door service
Door Outreach

Purpose
On Tuesdays, our compassionate door service provides essential resources to our street friends, including food, clothing, and hygiene products. Dedicated volunteers and staff also offer pastoral care and referrals to those experiencing poverty and homelessness.
How it works
Pre-orders: Our street friends can call us before Tuesday at 11:30 am to skip the line and immediately get their items when they arrive (on Tuesday between 12:30 and 2:30 pm). Our staff works hard to answer phones so all pre-orders are completed on time. Our street friends go through a list with our staff to discuss what they need and want. Once completed, the order is put in a folder and given to our volunteers to fill when they arrive.
Regular Orders: Our volunteers complete any remaining pre-orders and begin serving those waiting to be served at 12:30 pm. Our volunteers will speak with our street friends, inquiring about their needs. Once completed, our street friend is given a ticket, and the order is processed. Our volunteer then hand-picks each item requested and places it into a bag to deliver to our street friends. Once our street friend is happy with the order, our volunteer helps the next person.
