View our financial information from previous years

Ottawa Innercity Ministries (OIM) is registered under the Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act and is recognized as a charitable organization by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). OIM is funded by donations from individuals, churches, community groups, and various levels of government.

Since its inception, OIM has been dedicated to meeting the needs of the vulnerable and marginalized in Ottawa's inner city. Today, the ministry continues to serve individuals and families facing poverty, homelessness, and addiction, including youth and older adults. The various outreach programs provide essential support services, food security initiatives, and spiritual care. Through these programs, OIM's tradition of caring for its neighbours will continue long into the future.

As part of OIM's commitment to being accountable to our donors, we are pleased to provide you with our financial statements. This financial summary intends to provide our donors with the most valuable information, explaining our programs and how their donations are being utilized.

OIM has a unique structure within the charitable field, deeply embedded in the community it serves. Its programs often rely on the dedicated work of volunteers who contribute their time and skills, complementing the efforts of a small staff team. This commitment to community involvement ensures that resources are maximized to directly benefit those in need.

All of this detailed financial information is provided in our annual filing of Form T3010, which is available to the public on the CRA website. Our full, audited financial statements are also available below.

OIM's financial statements are prepared by an independent auditor. They also prepare our annual filing of the T3010 government return.

We continually evaluate how we present our financial information to ensure that we provide our donors with the facts they need to make informed decisions.

OIM is proud of its history and the programs and services it offers to the inner-city community. Public support, which enables the ministry to continue operating its various programs for those in need, including outreach initiatives, food banks, and support for vulnerable individuals and families, is vital to OIM's mission.
