Innercity Veterans Outreach & Support (IVOS)
They served our country now we serve them. Offering one-on-one support in a safe and welcoming community.
OIM volunteers, all of whom are Veterans themselves, and staff help our at-risk and homeless Veterans every Wednesday by giving them a safe space where they can come and enjoy a meal, play games, and chat with each other.

In partnership with Veterans Affairs Canada, we offer practical support and a weekly At-Home program for homeless and at-risk Veterans. We offer one-on-one support in a safe and welcoming community.
How it works
Our program helps at-risk and homeless Veterans in the following ways:

Street Outreach
Street Outreach happens seven days a week, and we actively seek out and identify Veterans by asking, "Have you served?" This is the start of helping veterans get back on their feet.

Door Outreach
Every Tuesday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Veterans in need can come to our Office (391 Gladstone Ave) and receive food, clothing and other supplies.

IVOS At-Home Weekly Program- open to ALL Veterans who want to be part of our community
We meet every Wednesday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the OIM Office building for camaraderie with other Veterans.
Recreational Activities such as cribbage and other games are available.
