The Step-Up program prepares our Youth clients with the soft skills they need to pursue a job and remove self doubt.
Many of them have encountered so many hardships in their lives, that they live in constant anxiety.
The program provides a safe, and judgement-free space young adults can come to gain work experience, develop communication skills, and be provided with other tools and skills people may need for desired employment.
It is our goal at OIM to help all our friends in the Step-Up program to improve their verbal and non-verbal skills, overcome their adversity, so that they are not only job ready, but can also effectively communicate with their peers. This boosts their self confidence and overall well-being.
