A Busy Spring

Spring is sooo busy.

The winter was sooo long and didn’t seem to be letting up, even until late April, but then suddenly it was warm (reasonably), and people burst forth from their hibernation and started all manner of gardening and other activities. Home Depot, Rona and other such stores had full parking lots. Ottawa was hungry for spring.

The streets of Ottawa’s inner city also erupted into double the number of street friends we were serving daily. The number of people we are serving now is reflective of what we see in early summer, so we are going through our stock of water, juice, sandwiches and snacks rapidly. If you are able, OIM could use your support.

Please know, not only are we distributing these items, but the demand for Christian literature has also increased. We are seeing more New Testaments and Daily Breads being distributed than previously. This is very good news. You and I both know that the Word, in concert with the Holy Spirit, is instrumental in people coming to faith in Jesus. We also know that the Word will not return empty, but will accomplish the purpose that the Lord has determined. So, while it is a busy spring, it is also a spring filled with the hope of new life in Christ.

Please consider answering the call to volunteer and serve the marginalized of Ottawa’s inner city. Please consider donating either goods or funds to the mission of OIM. You will be blessed, and the Lord will be glorified through your faithful service and sacrifice.

The burst of gardening and full parking lots at Home Depot is so relatable—Ottawa definitely clawed its way out of that winter. Seeing the doubled number of street friends you’re serving makes me wonder how folks can help, and I’ve been checking out https://aivideoonline.com

The sudden thaw really did flip a switch—our street team saw the same surge in folks needing supplies once the snow finally broke. I've been tracking similar patterns with https://arcads.pro

The part about people bursting forth from hibernation the moment it got warm is so true—I saw it firsthand trying to get potting soil at Rona, which was absolute chaos. It's heartening to hear that the demand for Christian literature is up too, even while you're scrambling to keep up with the extra sandwiches and water. Speaking of the season's chaos, I've been using a low quality image maker to mess around with some garden photos for a laugh, and it's been a fun little distraction between all the yard work. Hoping the spring rush brings you plenty of volunteers and donations!

That sudden thaw really did send everyone scrambling—I’ve never seen so many people fighting over mulch at Rona. The jump in street friends you’re serving must make those long winter months feel like a distant memory, and I’ve been using https://3d-ai-generator.com

The sudden thaw really did send everyone scrambling—our local garden center was wiped out of potting soil by noon. I’ve been using a similar spring checklist to keep track of all the chaos, check out https://ai-3d-modeling.com
