What an incredible evening! On Friday, we had our Art & Soul Auction fundraiser at the Ottawa Art Gallery. The event was a celebration of community, creativity, and compassion.
I want to personally thank everyone who attended, volunteered, or supported the event. Volunteers, staff, donors, sponsors, youth, and attendees – thank you! Your generosity has been deeply felt and appreciated, and it deeply correlates to the event’s success. While almost every piece of artwork was sold during the event, I’ve received emails from others asking to purchase any leftover art; essentially, every piece is or will be sold! That is so amazing!
As I shared during the event, the vision of our Innercity Arts program is about more than meeting physical needs; it's about experiencing community and showing God’s love and hope for the broken. Friday night displayed the buy-in of this vision from so many of OIM’s supporters. Thank you!
"By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth" – 1 John 2:16-18.

What a wonderful event! It’s incredible to see how creativity and compassion came together for such a great cause. Like iron on patches that add unique flair to a piece, your efforts are leaving a lasting impact. Thank you to everyone who contributed your support truly makes a difference!
