One step at a time

Oftentimes, people consider aspirations a certainty in life, yet for some, it is but a distant concept. Two of our youth have been accepted into a course at Ottawa University through the Ottawa Mission. Both faced numerous challenges throughout their lives, so an opportunity such as this didn’t seem to be in their cards. 

For most people, this is merely another step in their journey, but for those two girls, this is the door to a whole new world of possibilities.

Before, they didn’t dare to dream of a better future. But the course offered a footstool to a world of opportunities they had never imagined as attainable, as their own. It gave them the confidence to aspire, to hope, and to dream beyond what they or society deemed possible. 

For most people, aspirations are a given. But not everyone has that luxury. Sometimes, in cases like these two girls, all it takes is one step.

Please pray for these two champions that God provides them with wisdom, boldness and joy to step into this journey. May this breakthrough allow them to see God’s love for them, that they may accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
