Outreach Alley

Hello from the OIM basement! Down here is where you will find the physical supplies for our various ministries. We have our food bank shelves that get emptied and restocked. We have our food bank shelves that get emptied and restocked every week by our faithful volunteers. We have what we call “Outreach Alley,” which is where we keep all the supplies for street outreach (water, snacks, toiletries, socks, sleeping bags, backpacks and so on). You will also find our fridges and freezers where sandwiches and freezies are constantly coming and going.

Last but not least, here is where we receive and process all the material donations that we receive. When I first started working here back in November, we were overwhelmed with donations! There were piles and bins everywhere and I wondered how we would ever go through it all. But now that the summer months have hit, we are beginning to run out of items. My challenge is now to discern what items we can afford to buy and what items we can’t keep in stock at this time.

It's exciting to see how God provides for our needs and brings supplies our way! Just a couple of weeks ago we received a very large donation of over 1,000 water bottles which was able to last us for a few weeks.

We are thankful for everyone who partners with us, whether in prayer, volunteering, giving financially or donating material goods!
