What an incredibly warm summer we have been experiencing!  I was visiting with an outreach team recently as they were preparing to go out and meet with our street friends.  This winter, we purchased a couple of knapsacks for the teams to use for the heavier items such as water bottles and juice boxes.  I was asking them how they found the weight on their backs with the water bottles they are taking out in this heat.  One of the outreach guys told me that they only carry this for a short time once a week, but many of our street friends carry their stuff around all the time.  They were commenting on how it gave them a new perspective on what some of our friends go through on a daily basis.

Perspective…it’s a good thing…
